TRAVELING WITH WINE
Alaska Airlines offers a “Wine Flies Free” program on travel from Sonoma County.
Southwest Airlines allows you to bring up to one case of wine (checked) free of charge when departing from Sonoma County Airport.
Southwest Airline’s “Sip & Ship” program does not require any sort of membership.
For both airlines, the wine must be properly packaged to courier standards, which means packed as if you are going to ship it via FedEx, UPS, etc.
